Mike Strong has a full range of support services
including hydro geologists, laboratory testing
and analysis, sewage and civil engineering
consultants. In addition, the company has
direct access to the relevant governing authorities
and expertise in the application for appropriate
licensing or certification. For breakdowns,
we have a large fleet of vehicles and mobile
equipment, backed by fully equipped stores,
which can reach all parts of the southwest
and south Wales in 24 hours.
Sewage Treatment
Before it can be retuned to water courses,
sewage is processed with rigorous control
at every stage. Mike Strong has the expertise
for every step and can supply and install
appropriate plant, to meet the stringent
regulation.
Transferring fluids of various densities
is readily accommodated by the use of pumping
equipment such as that provided by the Grundfos
'KP' sewage and effluent pump range.
Farm
Effluent
When you consider that farm effluent, particularly
silage liquor, is top of the pollution league
and can be 3000 times as strong as domestic
sewage, it is understandable how serious
is the threat of contamination to streams
and rivers.
The methods by which effluent can be safely
collected and dispersed in large volumes
over wide areas, allowing nature take its
course, are well practiced by Mike Strong
whose specialist engineers can guide agricultural
clients through the minefield of regulation,
equipment provision and installation.
Water purification
Standards for drinking water are strictly
enforced and very few aquifers meet these
standards without treatment. With a range
of plant, proven over many years experience,
and backed by a specialist consultancy and
laboratory service, Mike Strong provide
both advice and practical solutions to the
variety of problems raised in the achievement
of the required quality.
